Welcome to third grade!

E

n tercer grado comienzas a estudiar el idioma inglés como parte de tu plan de estudios. Y este
libro-cuaderno es un recurso para ayudarte a comprender mejor las clases de inglés que recibes en este
grado, por supuesto con la guía de tu docente, monitor
o familiares. En él encontrarás las principales orientaciones que facilitarán tu preparación, organizadas en
varias secciones con ejercicios y actividades precisas, que
te apoyarán en el aprendizaje y la ejercitación de los
contenidos, entre ellas:

¿Sabías que...?












El idioma inglés tiene palabras que se escriben
como en español con pronunciación diferente:
hospital, hotel, actor, doctor, animal, artificial.
En inglés hay palabras que parecen similares,
pero tienen un significado diferente:
Soap-jabón
Soup-sopa.
En inglés los días de la semana y los meses del
año se escriben con letra inicial mayúscula:
Monday, Tuesday, July, September.
En inglés los signos de interrogación y de exclamación solo se escriben al final de la oración:
What do you do?
La letra “ñ” no aparece en el abecedario en
inglés, porque no hay ninguna palabra en el
idioma inglés que se escriba con “ñ”.
En inglés las palabras no llevan tilde.
